Makan Makan?

A week long of going up and down to the hospital. Today is the most interesting day.
Brought Busu's friend along because Mama needed a massage, we were half an hour early before the visiting hours. Went to the cafeteria, waited for Kak Minah to finish her teh tarik. I decided not to order, wasn't comfortable with the surrounding. So I looked around, and sat this funny looking Aunty in a red blouse with stockings and sandal. Who wears that? She was enjoying her meal, and I think I might have looked at her for quite some time cause she was so striking. Suddenly, she stood up and brought her plate along and walked towards me. She came to me, holding her plate up and said "Banyak makan, makan, makan" or that's what I thought she said. She offered me her food. I froze and replied with a " err no, Thank You". She then walked back to her table and continued eating.
Too cute.
Horrifying at the same time.

Finals Hangover.

First day, he turned and smiled at me.

Second day, he waved at me.

Third day, I said goodbye and happy holidays.

Girls are taught a lot of stuff growing up: if a boy punches you he likes you, never try to trim your own bangs, and someday you will meet a wonderful guy and get your very own happy ending.

Every movie we see, every story we're told implores us to wait for it: the third act twist, the unexpected declaration of love, the exception to the rule but sometimes we're so focused on finding our happy ending we don't learn how to read the signs. How to tell the ones who want us from the ones who don't, the ones who will stay and the ones who will leave.

And maybe a happy ending doesn't include a guy, maybe it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future.
Maybe the happy ending is just moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this: knowing after all the unreturned phone calls and broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment... you never gave up hope.

You CAN'T force a man to love. He has to WANT to.

You CAN'T tell a man to take you to places. He has to WANT to.

Why do people like to mess up with my head before, during and even after final exams?

Godbless.

Wedded Bliss.

Congrats to the newlyweds, Nadia Hani & Erwan.

Thanks Nadirah for inviting us to your sister's beautiful wedding.

Wonder why I put up the last pic? That Uncle was the sweetest at the table. He had helped me with my food, served the rice and dishes. I didn't expect it and was awed by his gesture, couldn't stop smiling while eating. His wife was seated next to him at that time, Aunty, You are a very lucky woman! Heheh. I love weddings and old people?
Cheers & Godbless.

I Feel Like Blogging!

I had class last Wednesday, It was from 9am-12pm then 5pm-9pm. Had Mc'D for breakfast.
During the lunchbreak, I had gone to Domino's in CJ to get some bites. I'd rather do a take out when am alone. Usually I would go for rice, soup and alike if Syaz is around. So then I ordered my food, the server took a rather long time to key in my order, guess he was a new staff there. Paid for the pizza and sat for a bit. A lady in green kurung was already there waiting for her food as well. While I was pulling a chair, I smiled at her and didn't expect that she would say Hi. I replied awkwardly, with an uhm Hey. Then there was a pause. I was looking at my phone texting a friend, when I was done with it and put my phone away, she continued with a query. "So, girl are you a local?". I smirked unknowingly. Said, yes I am. She smiled and said you don't look like one, I asked why'd she say so. "It's the nose, looks like an Arab". Ahh a tanned arab? She just laughed softly. Am bad with starting/continuing conversations with strangers. It'll take me some time. This lady then ask what I was doing in Cj, said that she's a lecturer from IIUM. She had come all the way to get this special bread that the family like to have for dinner and lunch. Roti Arab of some sort? She had taken out a few from the plastic bag and showed them to me and I touched it, am not sure if it was appropriate to touch others' food but they were wrapped in plastic, assume it's alright.
Moral of the story?
I don't know.
Talking to a stranger could be fun?
She kinda made my day for whatever reason.
Her food was ready then, we shook hands and she took off with her fiery red JLB Merc.
Green building in the picture? That's where am staying as of now.
Godbless.

Everything's Changing.

You pick your words so carefully
You hate to think you're hurting me
You leave me laughing on the floor.

I thought we were just hanging out
So why'd you kiss me on the mouth?
You thought the way you taste would get me high.

You went to all your friends to brag
Guys are always such a drag

Don't you know that
I...
I DON'T give a damn about you
I WON'T give it up, no NOT for you
I'm NOT gonna cry about some stupid guy
A guy who thinks he's ALL that

Everytime you go away
It actually kinda makes my day
(:

Happy 2011

Cuppies Syaz, A'liah and I made for the New Year.

Our much needed catch up session on the first day of 2011!

Gift from lovely Izzy (:

Eizaaz spent the new year's eve at our home.

A tribute comment from a dear lecturer, Thanks for the thought. Appreciate it much (:

My 2011 started off great.
I know it's not possible to ask for a perfect life but I hope this year will be good throughout and so will the years to come.

Amin.
